Funding Kagyu Buddhism North West

Funding imageKagyu Ling and its associated groups are run by volunteers.  There are no membership fees and no charges for most classes, so our funding comes largely from donations and regular contributions.

We really appreciate the donations that visitors often make when they visit the Centre or our associated groups. But these do not cover the costs of running Kagyu Ling, which amount to over £8,000 per month.

Without one-off contributions from members of our community to fund specific projects, or monthly standing orders to help pay the bills, Kagyu Dechen Buddhism would not be able to provide the precious opportunities that we do to study and practise Buddhism and meditation together.

Can you make a contribution?

Most people who make a standing order tend to donate around £30 per month. But any regular payments are welcome, however small. Having a reliable and regular income makes it easier for us to budget carefully and plan ahead.

If you’d like to take out a standing order to make a regular contribution, please download a standing order form or pick one up from the Centre.

Remember that you can also gift aid your donation using the gift aid form. This enables Kagyu Dechen Buddhism to claim back the tax you have paid. We are a registered charity:  Kagyu Dechen Buddhism (North West).  Charity no: 1145791

Alternatively, if you’d like to make a one-off donation please use the online donation form.
