Sad death of an authentic Buddhist teacher

Kagyu Ling would like to extend its sympathy to all the disciples of Russel Williams, principal teacher of the Manchester Buddhist Society, who died on 09 April.

As Lama Jampa Thaye said in his comments for the recent book about Russel Williams’ life and teachings ‘Not I, Not Other Than I’:

“For over half a century, Russell Williams has been an utterly authentic voice for the Buddha Dharma and spiritual friend to many.  His goodness and wisdom shine through the pages of this book.”

Sunday 15 April’s Chenrezig puja at Kagyu Ling will be in commemoration of Russel Williams.  This begins and 10.30 and all are welcome.
