Book tickets for Lama Jampa’s next teaching in Manchester
Lama Jampa will return to Manchester on 11 and 12 February 2023 to begin teaching Situ Dharmakara’s Commentary on the Mahamudra Aspiration Prayer, composed by the 3rd Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje.
This commentary provides a profound explanation of Mahamudra meditation and a defence of the special precepts preserved in the Kagyu Buddhist tradition.
The teaching takes place on Saturday 11 and on the morning of Sunday 12 February. On the afternoon of 12 February, Lama Jampa will bestow the initiation of Milarepa, which is drawn from the lineage of Jamgon Kongtrul.
The teaching will be open to all and the initiation to anyone who has formally become a Buddhist by taking refuge. It is possible to arrange to take refuge by contacting manchester@dechen.org in advance.
