Celebrate Buddha Day: Chokor Duchen

Buddha Days at Kagyu LingChokor Duchen is one of the four ‘Buddha Days’ celebrated each year and marks the first teaching given by the Buddha on the 4th day of the 6th month of the Tibetan year – the ‘turning of the wheel’ in the deer park at Sarnath.

On Wednesday 14 July 2021, the 16 Arhats sadhana will be practised at Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre, Manchester, at 8pm to celebrate Chokor Duchen. It will also be zoomed.

Anyone who has taken refuge is welcome to sit in during the puja, although it is necessary to have received the initiation to participate in the practice.
