Christmas closure and Chenrezik retreat
Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre will close for public classes from Thursday 23 December 2021 until Tuesday 4 January 2022.
There will be no meditation classes during this period at Kaygu Ling and the regional meditation groups will also be taking a break.
The annual year-end Chenrezik retreat will be held on 28, 29 and 30 December at Kagyu Ling.
People are welcome to drop in for one or more sessions or to do the entire retreat.
There will be four sessions each day: 9am to 10.30am; 11am to 12.30pm; 2pm to 3.30pm and 4pm to 5.30pm.
All the sessions will also be zoomed on the Chenrezik puja link so the retreat is open to people who can’t make it to the Manchester centre
There is no requirement to have received the reading transmission of the Chenrezik sadhana to join the retreat but it is only suitable for people who have a serious interest in Buddhism and some meditation experience.
Light refreshments will be provided but there will be no lunch so please bring your own if you plan to stay all day.
There will be no charge to attend but participants are encouraged to make a suggested donation of £3 per session or £10 per day towards running costs.
