Hale Buddhist meditation

Online meditation classes

While Buddhist meditation classes in Hale are closed due to coronavirus, you can join online Meditation Zones. These are every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, using Zoom. Meditation Zones are open sessions, and all are welcome.

First, each session gives an explanation of a simple calming meditation practice. After that there is a brief talk on a key aspect of the Buddha’s teachings.

Visit What’s On for all the Meditation Zone times and Zoom links.

Meditation in Hale

Due to the coronavirus situation, meditation classes in Hale are closed until further notice. But below is some information about our usual sessions. Of course we’ll update this page as soon as classes resume.

Thursdays 8pm to 9pm.

With meditation you can find the space to allow your mind to settle and experience the natural calmness that is ever present, but which normally goes unnoticed in our busy and stimulating lives. At our classes you can learn a simple calming meditation technique that you can practise yourself at home
