Online meditation classes
Why not try meditation online while classes in Prestwich are suspended? The Prestwich Buddhist meditation group hosts an online Meditation Zone each Tuesday at 7.30pm and all are welcome. In addition there are further Meditation Zones on Tuesday and Thursday via Zoom.
These online classes are free sessions, and all are welcome. First, each session gives an explanation of a simple calming meditation practice. After that there is a brief talk on a key aspect of the Buddha’s teachings.
Visit What’s On for all the online Meditation Zone times and Zoom links.
Meditation classes in Prestwich
Because of the coronavirus situation, Prestwich Buddhist meditation classes are cancelled until further notice. But below is some information about our usual sessions. Of course we’ll update this page as soon as classes resume and will give details of the time, day and venue.
At our weekly classes you can learn how to meditate with a simple, calming meditation practice, and find out a little about the Buddhist teachings, which have such timeless significance for our modern western lives. No experience is necessary. And there is no need to book – just come along. The sessions are open to all, and attract people from across the north Manchester area.
