Kagyu Ling classes resume after summer break
Meditation classes are restarting following the summer break so if you’ve ever felt thought about learning how to meditate, why not give it a go?
Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre in Chorlton, Manchester, has a weekly programme of classes for beginners and the classes resume on Wednesday 23 August 2023.
Meditation classes are held three times each week:
Wednesday: 10.30am to 11.30am and 8pm to 9pm.
Friday: 8pm to 9pm.
The sessions are open to anyone who wants to learn how to meditate and explore Buddhism in a friendly, relaxed setting. No experience is necessary, and of course people who are already experienced at meditation are always welcome too. There is no need to book – just turn up.
Experienced practitioners lead the sessions and guide you in a simple meditation technique. You can then practise this yourself at home.
You will also be able to learn a little about the basic teachings of the Buddhist tradition such as impermanence, karma and compassion.
Learn to meditate in the north west
