Learn to meditate at Kagyu Ling’s Open Meditation Morning
Would you like to learn to meditate, and find out a little about Buddhism?
Open Meditation Mornings at Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre in Manchester give the opportunity to learn simple calm-abiding meditation. The Saturday morning sessions are ideal for anyone new to meditation and Buddhism.
The final Open Meditation Morning of 2023 is on Saturday 7 October.
There are two sessions of calm-abiding meditation – from 10am to 11am and 12noon to 1pm.
You will be given an explanation of how to settle the mind with this simple practice, and there will be a reflection on a Buddhist topic.
You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions and there is no need to book in advance. The suggested contribution is £3.
No lunch is provided but there is an opportunity to socialise in the break between sessions.
