Meditation classes restart

Meditation classes at Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre are running again following the Christmas break.

The first class of 2020 is on Friday 3 January at 8pm. Next week, all the classes at Kagyu Ling will resume the usual schedule:

Wednesday morning 10.30am – 11.30am        Facilitators: Derek and Glyn
Wednesday evening 8.00pm – 9.00pm            Facilitators: Kamani, Terry and Mike
Friday evening 8.00pm – 9.00pm                     Facilitators: Cath and Chris

Meditation classes run by Kagyu Dechen Buddhism north west in other parts of Manchester, and across the region, the regional groups will also be getting back into action over the next few weeks. Check the group pages, and what’s on, for details.

Our meditation classes are for anyone who wants to learn how to meditate in a friendly, relaxed setting.  No experience is necessary. There is no need to book – just turn up! Everyone is welcome.

The sessions are led by experienced practitioners. They will guide you in a simple meditation technique. You can then practise this yourself at home.

You will also be able to learn a little about the basic teachings of the Buddhist tradition – such as impermanence, karma and compassion.
