The Way of Knowledge by Mipham Rinpoche
Lama Jampa will begin a new annual cycle of teachings - 'The Way of Knowledge' by Mipham Rinpoche.
This text by the great Nyingma master Mipham Rinpoche (1846-1912) comprehensively covers Buddha Shakyamuni’s teachings, exploring the different tenet systems in Tibetan Buddhism. Lama Jampa has described it as an essential component of a dharma curriculum.
At 2.30pm on 31 December Lama Jampa will give the initiation of Namgyalma - one of the key longevity deities of Vajrayana Buddhism. She is also a powerful source of transcendental wisdom. As usual, refuge will be granted during the early part of the initiation to anyone who wishes to take it.
The teaching will be held at The Studio in Manchester.
Please note that the Studio will not be providing lunches. Wristband drinks will be available. You can bring a packed lunch and eat it at the Studio, or visit one of the many cafes or restaurants in the nearby area.
Mornings: 10.30 - 12.30 and afternoons: 14:30 - 16:30. Tickets must be booked online in advance.
