Mind Training (Lojong) Day

An introduction to the transformative Buddhist Lojong (mind training) teachings, led by Jonathan Macaskill.

Mind training is a system of meditation for developing the thought of enlightenment. At its heart is the practice of exchanging oneself for others.

Session 1: 10:30am – 12noon: Introduction to lojong and guided meditation

Session 2: 12:30pm – 1:30pm : Introduction to meditation on ultimate bodhicitta

Session 3: 2:30pm – 4.00pm: Relative bodhicitta meditation with time for questions and clarification

Drop in for one or more sessions or stay all day. The event is open to all and there is no fee but donations are welcome. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring food for a shared lunch. 

The event is jointly organised by Hebden Bridge and Colne Kagyu Dechen Buddhist Groups
