An introduction to Ayurveda with Sarita Nahar

£40.00

Ayurveda is a preventative and curative discipline, originating from India and based on universal laws of nature. Different levels of the human organism, including the physical, emotional, and mental aspects can be understood through Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis. An understanding of the cause of the current ailments, diagnosis can track the disease back to its origin.

Subtler levels of causal factors like emotional issues or specific thought patterns of the individual, that subsequently manifest into physical ailments are understood. By understanding these subtler levels the root cause is treated.

A wide range of imbalances can be helped with this holistic system.

Over this weekend visit Vaidya (physician) Nahar will provide an interactive Ayurvedic workshop on Saturday 16th May 11am - 6pm

  • Context of Ayurveda, its history, development and lineage

  • Philosophy underpinning ayurveda

  • Health and imbalance

  • Q&A

Key points for you to take home:

  • Awareness of one's own body and possible imbalances

  • Recommended daily and seasonal regimes to maintain a healthy balance

  • Some home made remedies to try out.

Handouts will be provided. You may wish to bring a notebook and pen.
